About Sleepees

Back in 2007, Sleepees was a product under major scrutiny for a scandal. The herbal sleep remedy was actually found to contain traces of the prescription medication Estalozam. Having an undeclared prescription drug in a supplement can interfere with other medications, have a number of side effects, and even lead to dependence. For these reasons, Sleepees was recalled.

Not only did Sleepees lose the trust of the public, but it lost credibility and crumbled. This product is understandably longer available, but it is worth examining the formula to see if the core ingredient can be valuable things to look for in other supplements.

The Good

Without the Estalozam, the Sleepees formula would be a completely herbal supplement. The blend of herbs combined Jujue Date, Siberian Ginseng, Schisandra, Hops, Reishi Mushroom, Red Sage, Helicidum, and Mother-of-Pearl. The most important ingredient in this supplement is Hops. Hops is capable of reducing tension and promoting relaxation to help people fall asleep faster.

The Bad

Although a health risk, the inclusion of Estalozam at least helped people fall asleep. The fundamental formula for Sleepees is practically useless. Schisandra and Mother-of-Pearl have no association known to assist or treat sleeplessness or restlessness. Just as ineffective, Siberian Ginseng and Reishi Mushroom are known for being immune boosters rather than having any sedative effects.

Final Conclusion

It is clear cut that Sleepees is not the right sleep supplement for anyone. Even if this product were still available, the formula would be rendered ineffective. The best sleep supplements will contain ingredients like Melatonin, Valerian or a combination of the two. Sleep aids that have Melatonin have the ability to help you fall asleep faster and even assist with resetting your sleep cycle.
